YouTube’s ‘The Try Guys’ Oust Ned Fulmer After Cheating Allegations — Here’s What Happened

The Try Guys, a group of YouTube content producers who began their careers at Buzzfeed before starting their own production company, made the announcement on Tuesday that they were parting ways with executive producer and founding member Ned Fulmer. Fulmer had previously denied rumors that he had an affair with a Buzzfeed employee, but the news was confirmed by fans.

Eugene Lee Yang, Keith Habersberger, and Zach Kornfeld, the group’s surviving three members, declared in a statement on Tuesday that Fulmer would no longer be working with The Try Guys “as a consequence of a rigorous internal evaluation” and that they could no longer see “a road forward together.”

In the future, Fulmer said he will put his marriage and kids first, adding that “family should have always been my priority.”

In her own statement, Ariel Fulmer thanked supporters for their help and pleaded for discretion on behalf of the couple’s two sons.

An inquiry for comment from Forbes was not promptly answered by The Try Guys’ representatives.

Big number

Seven.8 million.
The Try Guys have that many subscribers to their primary YouTube channel.
Their focus is primarily on the participants’ exploration of novel experiences.
In recent recordings, the surviving members could be seen practicing stand-up comedy, making eclairs, and devouring the entire buffet in Las Vegas.

Fans had been speculating for days that Fulmer was having an affair with a member of the production team at The Try Guys before the allegations were made.
Fans suspected that Fulmer was edited out of portions he filmed because he did not appear in The Try Guys’ three most recent YouTube videos.
Pictures that were allegedly released online by a Reddit user showed Fulmer kissing a production manager who worked for the company in New York.
Fulmer was renowned for keeping a “family man” persona and even included images of his wife and kids in his writing.
The four members of The Try Guys started the company in 2014 while they were still working as content creators at Buzzfeed. They left the company to start their own in 2018. Social media users discussing the allegations against Fulmer compared the situation to rumors about Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine, who was accused of cheating on his supermodel wife, Behati Prinsloo, by a TikTok user.
