If you have just taken your license or have not driven for a long time, it is a good idea to follow some tips on driving a vehicle. Probably many of you have faced that fear of getting behind the wheel after getting your driver’s license not knowing how to beat it. I thought I would bring to your attention some very important tips that we should keep in mind whenever we get in the car.
- When we get in the car, it is mandatory to fasten our seat belt before leaving for the road. The law stipulates that all passengers must wear a seat belt if the rear seats are fitted with such devices.
- Beginners should drive as much as possible on lane 1, if it is free of course, so as not to obstruct other road users if we go slower than them.3. Any intention to change the direction of travel must be signaled, whether it changes the lane or overcomes an obstacle or turns left / right.4. Let’s follow absolutely all traffic rules. This applies to all drivers, as required by the traffic code.
- It is good that when we are beginners we do not engage in overcoming. But, if we still do it, let’s do it with our heads, let’s make sure that we are firmly back and forth, that we signal our intention and that we will overcome it. We all know that a lot of road accidents are caused by illegal overtaking.
- Another thing that I consider important is that the new drivers who have just obtained their driving license, having the necessary driving experience, to go out by car when the city is free, for example on weekends to take small walks, then they will increase driving time depending on the experience gained.
- It is recommended not to go with a speed higher than 50 km / h on the main arteries. And in turns to make them with the second gear – 20 km / h with maximum caution. It is also important to remember not to take friends in the car. Why? For the simple reason that they will engage in discussions with the novice driver and disrupt him.
- Also avoid driving with the radio on / music as it may distract us from the road and create dangerous situations leading to accidents. A driver must have distributive attention, but when the noise produced by a cassette player is high it will diminish his ability to concentrate.
- Driving a car by a beginner should be done with the utmost caution, and the beginner should have on his right someone who already has a license and experience in driving. This is my opinion. I think it would help a lot and reduce the risk of road accidents considerably. Being alone is subject to error at all times.
- The novice driver must keep both hands on the steering wheel at 9 and 15. Driving any car is done in this manner. Any other handling of the steering wheel is very risky.
